LiveJournal QOTD for Tuesday, February 23 2010

When you’re bored at work, home, or school, do you have any guilty habits to pass the time, like reading up on celebrity gossip, non-creative gaming, scanning classifieds/personals, or watching bad TV re-runs?

Yeah. I tend to waste away my time predominantly online, just looking through random stuff if I’ve gone through my normal routine-y internet rounds already. Less often, I’ll play games (yet again… online) or read books (that aren’t for school), listen to music, occasionally watch a movie or TV show.

Sorry, nothing too interesting with this entry. ;-)

LiveJournal QOTD for Friday, February 19 2010

Have you ever broken off a relationship with a friend because it was unhealthy for your self-esteem? Were you proud of your decision or did you regret it?

I can’t think of any particular examples at the moment, but I’m very sure I have at some point or another. Usually they just slowly fade away, by losing contact, usually because of no particular effort although it’s something that I wished to happen (the friendship dissolving).

Rarely, do I purposely cut off contact. I know I have, just can’t remember any examples. Unfortunately I do remember the ones where people have done that to me– but that’s not the point of the QOTD.

Anyway, either way the cookie crumbles, I usually regret it. Some are mixtures of regret and being proud. I always regret no matter what, though, because although I know lots of friendships are bound to die away, I still hate seeing them end (seriously, more so than most people).
